As I was beginning this photography business, I attended a friend's wedding reception. During the first dance, I spent probably as much time watching the photographer as I did my friend and his wife. I decided to speak to the photographer before I left. She introduced herself as Xan and I asked questions about her work. While we were chatting, she invited me to join a styled shoot in Salt Lake City later that week. I agreed and went along. It was brilliant to watch her work and ask her more questions.
